Tristan and Trista are twin bobcats (mostly), and were pretty inseparable until their teenage years hit and they got sick and tired of being mistaken for each other. Especially by their dates. Trista is well and truly upset that she's been dumped for Tristan 13 times under the pretense of, "He's you, but with male attachments!" Tristan isn't quite so twitchy about it, but he does get upset seeing one of his lady friends trying to surprise him with a kiss, only to get Trista instead. This might be easily sorted out if the two didn't have nearly the same build, and sense of style. There have been some truly epic rows over one of them changing their hairstyles, for example.
The results of which included, on one memorable instance, them both changing...to the same new hairdo. That...oh, they were livid. Their parents laughing about it Did Not Help.
Of course, the pair aren't really all that alike, outside of their appearances and dating tendencies. Tristan is a bit more scholarly, and a bit prissy, to boot. Between the two, he's the "organized one" - not that Trista doesn't keep it together, but by comparison, Tristan does it better. Trista, meanwhile, is much more willing to get her paws dirty and have it out. She's also slightly more athletic, and is well regarded as a wide receiver for their High School [American] football team. She'd play rugby, too - if the local clubs hadn't banned her for making them look bad (and possibly stealing a girlfriend. and a boyfriend. or 3. *cough*). She's also a much better thespian - which irks Tristan because he loves the theater and acting quite a bit more than she does. And, well, there was that one time Trista beat him for the role of Romeo. and his at-the-time girlfriend was Juliet. and Trista seduced her, accidentally *cough* To the point that, opening night, Juliet was rather more diligent going for the poison her Romeo drank than was needed. Or Timely. Nice ab lidding, though. "Perchance, there may be some on his tonsils!" The reviews were, at least, entertaining.
Both twins are looking for a SO, and have somewhat naive romantic notions, but are quite happy to have it on with "Mr./Mrs. Right Now," too, and have collectively dated the most attractive 15% of the school (give or take). Often serially. Tristan plays the brooding loner/poet quite well, while his sister is a bon vivant (without actually breaking the bank)/kindly jock, and seems like a generally warm person. They are both supremely irritated that they keep being told "if only you two were one person, it would be great!" - often shortly before being dumped. It is somewhat noteworthy how often the two are dumped, rather than the one doing the dumping - also, how often they remain, if not friends, on friendly terms with their ex's. Probably has something to do with the fact that most of the "date theft" isn't intentional.
As much as all this gets on the twin's nerves, they do love each other, in a family sense - sorry, no actual incest here. The pair often enjoy each other's company, cheers for each other at games, see similar movies (or make a day of it and trade between favorite genres), talk politics and fashion, and are pretty much there for each other; good siblings, in short. They have a good family home-life, love their parents (though the entire unit occasionally drives itself totally batty), and are fairly well adjusted.
Of recent note, Tristan has found a new girlfriend, that doesn't go to their high school. He's hoping that, by not having his new lady meet his sister for long periods of time, he won't lose her to his more outgoing sibling. Trista would wish him the best of luck, if she knew anything about it...
Nothing could possibly go wrong! XD

Probably fairly much? Tristan would jump at a chance if the librarian in question was also well read. Literary boner all over the place XD Forsooth, something also rises! XD
Trista appreciates smart people, too, though being too into books would be a negative to her (just because that reminds her of her brother, and that's not sexy to her - she has nothing against being well read, it would just take time for her to overcome the mental connection). Of course, if this librarian is all about doing activities (reading corners, extracurricular learning programs, etc), it would be a plus to the action-oriented girl. With their luck, the librarian is both, and they will inevitably end up successfully seducing the poor lug simultaneously. (possibly without the librarian realizing that it's two separate people. >.>
again. ;>.>

Stella used to go clubbing pretty much every night, but loved books and history... Yeah, she's both. Oh dear.
