Name: Duragon Mikado
Title: “Flame of God” – Uriel
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Arcanine
Ability: Flash Fire
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Personality: To sum it up in a single word: cocky. Uriel has a devil-may-care attitude about life and the world. He is also very self assured of his own ability to fight and succeed, which comes off as arrogance. Like a lot of boys his age, his sex appeal is a major issue for him. However, for all these abrasive and self-centered traits, Uriel is perhaps the most sociable and easily approached of his entire team. He loves a social environment, though he often loves being at the center of it, and has an easy time making conversation. His easy-going, flashy approach to battles appeals to the under-classman, as well as his accessibility in a social setting, and willingness to coach along. He is often described as being the “reckless, yet endearing older brother”, an image he readily cultivates.
History: Whereas Michael has the training and dedication to his work that is rarely seen in ‘mon his age, Uriel has it in raw talent and skill. Uriel has himself never received formal training outside classes and public education. Not a single day has he spent in any sort of training program or regime, besides what he does himself. While his focus and technique are not as smooth or tight as the rest of his team, Uriel has a natural flair and control over his own power that could not be denied. However, his lack of desire to train those talents got him into trouble. Until 5 years ago, when he first ran into Michael. What happened then remains unknown, but for whatever reason, Uriel joined the ranks of Team Millennium. Now, in the PCA, he finds his flashy skills and rough talent don’t always get him the awe and praise they did before, which came as somewhat of a disappointment. However, he still has a growing fanbase among the underclassman, primarily among the freshman and sophomores. Uriel also enjoys the attentions of both men and women, and though he seems to have an eye for feminine features in either gender.
Movelist:
Sunny Day Thunder Fang Protect
Flame Wheel Attract Helping Hand
Fire Blast Flare Blitz Heat Wave
Leer Extreme Speed Hidden Power: Grass
Uriel’s moveset is offensively based, though it contains a mix of both Physical and Special attacks. His fixation on Fire-type attacks leaves him vulnerable, but the sheer force of his blows are enough to make most wince, even resistant types.
Combination Attacks:
Judgment – Heat Wave + Leer
Uriel is quite fond of this combination, because of the double effect it can have on his foes. By focusing his Heat Wave, he releases it in a forward blasting stream of fire, which, combined with the energy used in a Leer, results in not only hitting his foes with a potential burn-inducing attack, but also lowers their defense at the same time. Also, due to the low stamina cost (compared to his other combination) He can use this more frequently.
Arrow of God – Flame Wheel + Fire Blast
His signature finisher, Uriel forms a flaming bow out of the Flame Wheel, the arrow being the condensed form of a Fire Blast, which he launches at the target. This combines both his considerable Physical and Special Attack into a single move. He does sacrifice some of the strength of the Fire Blast by condensing it, but the trade-off is a massive boost in accuracy, resulting in a powerful blast that combines his best attributes.
