Fun Fact: In the Zyuranger series (the super sentai original of our first Power Rangers over here), Goldar was Grifforzer, a lion-faced griffin-themed villain. He couldn't speak until Episode 19 (Female Warrior Scorpion!), when the witch Bandora (Rita) granted him speech in exchange for his wife, Lamy (Scorpina) agreeing to join the Bandora Gang. (She didn't care much for his first words, though -- he said that women had no place on the battlefield, and she should be home doing laundry.)


He certainly looks appropriate to Elmyra, here -- after all, she's had a werewolf and a vampire among her pets before! Nice work!
