All the cool kids had Sonic fan characters,… BUT I HAD KLONOA ONES.
With the somewhat recent announcement of a Klonoa anime film in the works I want to be the first person to admit that I had two fan characters back in the day and board the hype train.
On the left, a priest. I always thought Leorina was a boy, so I assumed boys could be priestesses too. He has a twin sister he's always being mistaken for too. On the right, a traditional fan character, more or less a recolor of the protagonist, Klonoa with a few changes.
I can't remember their names or anything else, just that the purple one would help/cheer on the green guy out in his trials to become a priestess.... or priest rather lol. The old art is cringey, but I think little P-Aei would appreciate this so, here you go past little me.

Yeah! I'm excited, I hope it pans out and doesn't drop dead in development. Yeah, I always liked the fake language they used in game, can't recall his voice actors name though... She also voiced Izzy in Digimon in the Japanese version I think, and Shippo from Inuyasha?
Interestingly the character you made an icon of my fursona was made because of my love for klonoa. She was a once a fan character as well until i changed her into what she is now xD ! Yeah but the ears stayed of course lmao. I can only tell you how happy I am to see this in your style. Fan characters can be pretty rad though. IDK. it's just too awesome to me. I like how you drew them!
