you really blended those sounds well! it has a smooth, fluid quality, like otters slipping thru the water effortlessly, dancing.
listening to it several times, i felt that there should be some kind of intro... it just kinda felt like it started in the middle of the song... but that also lends a nice "right out of the gate" feel, getting right to the point. I just think that some kind of intro sound, maybe the supporting sounds sans guitar just for a few seconds, playing the tonic chord or something, or a lil intro cadence...
just a thought...
keep up the good work, you have nicely varied ideas ;)

*blush* Hearing that you like this song means a lot. Thank you.
Most of the song is formulaic: I'm following ideas from a book. I had to have something a little personal in this song, so instead of starting on the tonic, I started on a different chord (then moved toward the tonic.)
I'll try to have an introduction in future songs.

The book is Classical Form by William E. Caplin. I'm working through the book slowly.
My pleasure :) I tinker with my own music creations too, and that's one of the things my brain does in the process - conjures up "Oh, y'know, something like..." imagery to put (or come close to putting) a handle on the feeling of the piece.
(And I want to add that it has been fascinating to hear what you've created. Each work stands on its own, but getting to listen as you experiment has an overall marvelousness to it. Keep having fun ^_^)
