As artists, we can sometimes see our artwork as a brief distraction from the horror in our real lives. An escape from the burning bridges behind us. But right now is when we need to do what we do best.
This year has been really rough for a lot of people, myself included. Some of my friends have even stopped drawing because of it.
Now is the time we are needed most. We can't change the world overnight, but if we can inspire just one person with the things we create - we can make the world a little better. Bit by bit.
