faruku sold me this adopt! I loved it so much it inspired me to flesh out his species and culture, laying the seed for stories and world building yet to come. Species: Lapanaki, tribal-ish anthro rabbit
This guy is Darrow. He's 54" (1.37m) tall anthro rabbit of a species called Lapanaki, featuring quite a lot of chest fluff, back-and-head mane, and an overfluffy tail. His two most prominent features are his huge feet, each roughly 40% as long as he is tall, and his gigantic ears, which are a touch longer than his feet. His legs are more thigh than shin, but the thicker fluff on his thighs makes them seem bulkier than they really are. They also give him the appearance of broad hips, so folks not familiar with his species might mistake him for a female.
Indeed, the females of his species have very similar proportions, although they are much larger than the males, and commonly have a pair of developed breasts, of similar size range as humans, relatively speaking.
Females generally grow to a range of 5-9 feet tall, while the males only span a range of 4-6 feet. Females have a tendency to prefer smaller mates. Mates of similar size are very uncommon.
His species has many tribes and cultures, but they generally fall into two main groups: techs, and naturals. The techs enjoy the gifts of electricity and technological inventions, in which Darrow thrives, while the naturals are more earthy, preferring a life involved with growing and nourishing the natural world. They're not at war, per se, but they're often opposed to each other when issues concerning their world arise. The one has saved the other from tragedy multiple times over the millennia, and they both know it, so there's always a degree of respect between them that keeps them from actually warring.
Locomotion: Stand plantigrade, move digitigrade or sometimes hop.
