https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pu4.....m7o&t=200s
In the description I give you step by step while showing all the basic steps you need to convert any gmod for any program withing 12 minutes per model (or pack) I didn't use music to avoid copyright and, I didn't speak due, to audio issues last night. that i just repaired now.
So please play you'r own music and, play the video in hd. The basic instructions areas followed. I hope this will be helpfull to people. You will of corse need steam, neosis, vtf tool Nem's, blender, and a art program like gimp.
1. go to your steam addon folder that should be located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons
copy the addong (gma file to a new folder on the desktop .)
2. At C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin you'll see gmad drag the gma onto it. An dos will extract the data and, make a folder in the folder with the gma you made.)
3. Open neosis go into example for me you want to find the mdl model similar to this C:\Users\dionn\Desktop\tiger\anthro_tiger_playermodel_351358461\models\player\tiger
Use neosis to convert the mdl to obj. As well convert the vtf to png with Neosis or vtf tool Nem's this will help you later on.
4. now that you finished converting load blender. Import the obj and, port as light wav obj otherwise the obj won't port to mmd.
5. Load pmx makesure you'r model and, textures are in the main folder of the model. Import as new not add on. Make the size 0.6 this will save you time cause, gmod models tend to be hugh.
When loaded rotate the model till it's upright and facing forward.
6. Now in the texture parts assaign the textures to the correct parts. You don't need to flip the textures mapping like game rips. Since gmod and, mmd use similar texture styles.
Once you'r done assigning the textures you can now start boneing/ give facials to the model and, save it. that's all there is to porting a gmod to mmd.
