Little self-conscious about uploading this one since that's actually my hand in the shot (I have a condition in my hands in which my tendons are too short, preventing me from fully extending my fingers, but I'm still able to do anything anyone with normal hands can do for the most part and yes, I'm dropping the Shoduck shtick for this post as it's too personal for me to not be myself 100%) but anyway, to the actual description:
This is a ring I made quite a few years ago in the workshop of a local jewelry store and only rediscovered it a while ago after digging through some boxes that I hadn't yet gone through after moving into my current residence about two years ago. The main band is antiqued silver and the trim and flowers are gold (don't remember the Kt quality of it though). I made it really for two reasons: The obvious one being that it was a learning experience, but the other reason is where this gets more personal. I also made it to eventually give to that special someone because I felt it would hold more meaning than just going out and buying a ring if that makes any sense. But as you can see by my continued possession of the ring, that someone hasn't come along yet. Not that it bothers me though, since I've come to see relationships for myself as a wasted emotional investment and tend not to go further than just being friends.
Also, I don't want to seem like I'm seeking attention through this or anything, I just wanted to give the full story behind this ring as well as at least try to post something artistic that I actually made myself as opposed to posting art created by others.
