Deviantart has a lot of great tutorials that helped me out A LOT when I was starting out. I seriously have hundreds of tutorials saved, and I add to my collection any time I find a new one I like! The main advice I can give is to practice and don't be afraid! Don't censor yourself in the beginning, just keep working at it. Also don't give up if a coloring job is looking "ugly" - they ALL go through ugly phases, trust me! I should post some of my works-in-progress to see just how horrible they can be in the beginning, haha!
