This is Dover. A White Labrador. Now there is a long story behind this character. The suit is a stretch fur suit. I know you do not see these very often so youll get a good look at FCN09 this weekend.
Part of the story and most of the credit for getting this suit together goes to http://www.furaffinity.net/user/firestormsix/ He just opened for suit building business last November and dose and incredible quality. Now he did not sew the body but he did build the head, tail and detail the paws etc. This being stretch fur was very challenging to say the least. And he was excellent all the way thru the process.
Again I have to mention. Dover is visually imparred. Left eye is completely blind. Please be cautious and patient with him. He will also need help with being new to fursuiting.

ima ruin da magic nao! <3
the eye is inset within the head in a cup shaped socket that is painted entirely white, with the spot you see through in the center of the "cups" bottom, alittle hard for me to explain because im too lazy to look for reference pics
but how it works is it tricks our brain (i forget the technical term for it) ino regestering the eye at different points based on our perspective ,because the only way to judge where it is in relation to the eyesocket is the walls, haveing it inset like that makes our brain think the pupil is...well you know, im just talking in circles here

it involves a bit of know how with electronics and engeneering, i met one suiter that had buttons in his paws, pressing them made the suits eyelides, wich were attached to moveing joints and a small track system, close and open, me and a friend recently aquired a suit with some real heavy duty hardwear inside of a massive head, in wich buttons in the sides of the inside of the head activated motors to open and close both eyes,
blinking eyes is quite complex and only recomended for advanved suit makers
but the reason they would have a tough time working is that the follow me eyes are inset within the eye, and the eyelids would be up to an inch away from the actual eye...it would look way too wierd to be done successfully in my opinion, im welcome to be proven wrong however and it would be a great effect should it actually be done
i know Disney's high end donald mickey goofy daisy and minnie heads have blinking eyes in them, but thouse are likely controlled by others offstage via remote controllers
