I probably just noticed this but Is Althorax a god or goddess? When we're first introduced to Satoya, she explained that she can call on His power, but now she has been bonded to Althorax for over a year and She's never spoken a word to her.

The Great Spirits aren't gods, but they are often venerated/worshipped in similar ways. Their worshippers (usually centered around their individual Shrines) know that the Spirits aren't deities, but still possess enormous power and revere them for it.
