AKA: Old Death 2016 vs Baby New 2017
Basically my response to 2016, which had been rather cruel with its death toll. If I can meet up with Death for once, I'll walk up to his face and say "Shame on you!" . I may not come back alive from saying so, but hey, it's worth it XP
Also, this is my last pic for 2016, I can feel my art block breaking a bit, and in time, it can be gone :3 Let's hope 2017 will be a better year, and Happy Neww Year in advance~

this is kind of cute but it's not fair to blame death himself for doing his job. blame those that MADE HIM have to work. Blame the bad humans who murder and commit crimes that cause death either on purpose or accidental death. true there have been non crime related deaths which yeah blame him for those but most of the death this year was from criminals.
I used to be the philosophical type. I always envisioned death's job as to keep the population in check. If you don't know, sometimes overpopulation happens. Like, if there's too many deer, then they eat all the food and start to starve, or something like that, and then that carries over to everybody else. Predators start to run short on deer to hunt, their area is polluted with rotting carcasses, ETC.
This, of course, can apply to humans. In some cases, it already is applying. It'd take far more overpopulation to make the human population shoot itself in the foot, but it could happen over time. Some people have to die. A theoretical grim reaper's motive therefore could be much less sinister than it seems.
