The Hallow, Aine
A simple Spark to ignite the light of Life.
✖️ NAME---- Aine Gwaed
✖️ AGE---- Older soul, younger body.
✖️ GENDER---- Female
✖️ HEIGHT---- 4'9"
✖️ SPECIES---- Hallow, Kitkin
✖️ PERSONALITY----
Aine comes across as a very motherly, loving female. She clearly holds a tone of authority yet never to the point of causing another pain, only crushing disappointment in themselves.
When relaxed she becomes more puppy-like, incredibly loving an inquisitive. She seems to lack an understanding of certain actions, and will question them openly when brought up. She is also very easily hurt at any sign of negativity, and will choose to hide away somewhere safe rather than deal with it.
✖️ APPEARANCE: CLOTHING----
- She hardly ever wears clothing inside of her place of worship, as her Goddess prefers her to be naked.
- On the rare occasions she needs to travel, she chooses to wear garb that barely covers her, usually silky to the touch. During the winter months she has a preference for over-sized jumpers with a hood attached, and no trousers. She never wears shoes.
- Her ceremonial/"work" garb is made of silks, and are once again very revealing. In some communities the style is known as a thavarian bustier.
✖️ WEAKNESS----
- Poor sight during daylight.
- Colourblind to reds and regularly misidentifies other colours. [As far as she's concerned, she's almost pure white and will tell people such if they ask for a description of her.]
- Finds sunlight near unbearable on her eyes without help.
- Physical strength is poor in all regards - she would never be able to be a hunter.
- She can hardly run and certainly not for very long, can barely swim despite adoring the water, couldn't climb to save her life, etc.
- Relies heavily on the help of others for food and shelter; luckily she lives with her Goddess in the temple, and they survive pretty well on the tributes provided.
- Stubborn with a short temper to match when it comes to her Goddess.
✖️ STRENGTH----
- Noble in mind and soul, loyal to a T.
- Amazing hearing and healing abilities.
- Melodic voice.
- Can see both the aura of a person as well as their soul
- Incredibly strength in life energy, which allows her to exert her will over others.
✖️ ABILITY/ELEMENT---- Moonstone based Hallow. Both of her gems are of a moonstone typeset, but both are attuned differently. The larger gems are attuned to feminine healing, while the smaller set are attuned to spiritual healing.
- Healing: Aine's voice has spiritual healing properties - the sound is usually described as a comfort even for those in intense pain. Much like a mother softly singing to her child after a nightmare, Aine can calm anyone from their worries and fears. She can also heal by touch; this form is far less spiritual and more physical in nature. Depending on the amount of energy she can siphon from the life around her, she could hypothetically heal any wound.
- The Spark: Aine's name comes from her ability to bring the spark of life back into those who truly need it. This can be done in the literal way - if the spirit has not yet departed, she can rekindle it's bond to the physical body. Yet during this time she cannot heal the wounds which caused the "death", so another healer would need to be present for the person to survive. It can also be done in the hypothetical way - her soft words are known to give people the hope to carry on and grow!
- Strength of Will: Life energy is found in all living creatures, and to different extents all creatures have a control over it. In Aine's case, she can use her 'life energy' to exert her willpower upon others. If eye contact is made, Aine can subconsciously control the other person as her control over her willpower is generally higher than her prey. She uses this power to disengage fights or calm those that are panicked and angry. It is incredibly rare for her to use this ability to harm another as that is not within her nature. A good example of this is her subconsciously causing an attacker to continually miss their moves, despite them being unable to understand why that is happening in their own mind.
- The Power of Souls: All of Aine's abilities are necromantic in the sense that they rely on another's soul energy. She acts very much like a candle in the dark; guiding those that need a path back to life. For this to work, she needs the assistance of other soul's willing to give their own energy - whether they be living or dead, she asks for their assistance to protect another from The End. While using her spark and conducting business with souls she cannot heal the physical wounds of the person under her care, nor protect herself by exerting her will, so she needs to be protected and helped along the way by others.
✖️ APPEARANCE OF MAGIC----
- All of Aine's magic manifests itself visibly with a golden sheen.
- Light healing magic is visually similar to a golden mist. Heavier healing magic is more akin to flames.
- Aine can use her magic to create images and pictures in the air. In many cases she uses this ability to calm a client, or to spread the word of Eris. These images can be as small and simple or large and spectacular, yet can only be the colour of her magic. Many have said that this adds a very spiritual look to it, so she considers it a positive.
