Not enough clothes are made to stand up to spontaneous growth spurts.
Remember Katie? That Pikachu who was in two stories a long long time ago? She'd dropped off the radar for a while, I'd only started thinking of her again when I played Omega Ruby and picked up the Cosplay Pikachu to serve as my main Electric type for most of the game, sadly dropped to make room for Lucas toward the end. I wasn't really aware of how to change her into the different costumes so I just stuck her as the starting rockstar form, which was pretty neat, so I started thinking on the idea that Katie would become some kind of musician. Also there is still weight gain/expansion because Pikachu dumb antics.
