Happy New Year! 2016 Summary...
Basically, I made a lot of art. I even realised afterwards I missed the weapons I painted for Vangarthia and omitted some of the unfinished sketches I did, but I'm pretty sure most everything else is in here :b It's mostly organized by client, starting with Aeto and Argent-Fatalis up top, then some personal work along with stuff for a few other clients, then all the scaley work for Vangarthia, then the loooooong chunk taken up by Endless Realms work! I also wrote more this year than I think I have in the previous five years combined, so hooray! (I'm presently in another huge writer's block, but I'm sure that'll go away in another few years... :V)
I know a lot of people lost someone they cared about this year, or had something otherwise shitty happen in their lives, it seems, but for me, all things considered, I think things actually improved! Most notably, we moved from a terrible neighbourhood with weird flatmates that walked in on me repeatedly in the bathroom (which didn't have a locking door) to a wonderful neighbourhood with awesome flatmates from the university! I have something resembling a social life again 8D
Anyway, here's to hoping we all an excellent new year! <3
EDIT: Nooooo, I realised I forgot some stuff D:
EDIT: Okay, I added it all in :b Completionist OCD satisfied :V

Thanks a lot, really appreciated :) And yeah, our quality of life has gone up a ton just by being able to move neighbourhoods - closer to university, good company, invasive flatmates gone, nice locale with a good selection of shops, it's quite nice :3 For the first while, it felt like we were in some sort of vacation house because it actually had proper amenities and such :b
lol, glad you like it so much XD
And yeah, I feel sorta bad about it, although if I'm 100% honest......... I think the person I had to leave my reptiles in care of when I moved overseas may have let them die, since they respond readily whenever I message them EXCEPT they refuse to say how my pets are doing, so... well, I have a bad feeling about that for sure, but I've tried not to assume the worst :b

I'm very lucky there - most of my work is contract stuff from Lunar Games/Endless Realms, so it takes up most of my time and provides enough work for usually at least 30 hours a week. The rest is padded out between steady loyal clients who are pretty much always "on-call" ready with income to fill out the holes for me - I normally don't open for commission because it takes time to attract people, correspond with them, and wait for them to have money ready, so this saves me a lot in time/chaos.
I don't know if this will make you feel better or worse, but it's not necessarily about sales or advertising in my experience, or even skills - it seems to be about finding a market. So just talking with people and building a network is probably a way to go there! People, in my experience, are often more comfortable working with people they know :) Like, I'm kind of terrible when it comes to that, won't go to any cons or start a Patreon or anything like that, but then, "pushing" myself to be a huge commercial success really doesn't appeal to me :b
