I did this piece as a gift for my good friend  TrioCat of her pony OC North Star and the MLP Pony version of my character Silverwind meeting in the skies somewhere over Equestria.

I haven't had a chance to do much pony art so far, and I really enjoyed drawing her OC and my own together, and the picture as a whole turned out great. I was pleased that it was one of those pieces that just pretty much flowed together and looked right from the start, and colouring it was a joy too.
I really like the slightly reduced cartoon style too. I enjoyed that a lot more than hyper-detailing or trying to make everything mega-realistic. I think my art style does lend itself more to that kind of artwork, and it does go well with my colouring style too.

Trio was really pleased with her picture, and I'm glad I could give her something she liked so much. I did really want to draw it though, as she has a really pretty OC!
