I've been itching to post this for almost the entire month, but since I wanted to wait out until the last minute to see which pic would be good for december, I'm posting it almost right before the new year haha;;

I improved ALOT with line art and backgrounds tbh. the meowth pic for august took me HOURS to figure out bc of the background, and bc of all the work I put into details like that I think it really helped??? I used to bullshit backgrounds so much ;;

I also was able to get further away from using 200 overlay layers and using my own two eyes to pick nice colors that make the picture pop out the most. I'm really glad I experimented with other types of art, esp w/ traditional stuff. I even took an art class in college which basically forced me how to learn to ink things properly and not just grab shitty pens and do w/e lmao

although I wasn't able to draw as much in 2016 as I did in 2015, I'm much more satisfied with the results this year. :>

I look forward to 2017 and seeing how my art style changes >:3c
