I’ve noticed that I tend to have a fairly strong tendency to give a sort of axe-like head shape to my dragons.

So, as an experiment, I sketched some dragon heads based on geometric shapes.

I though about doing one in response to your commend...but quickly realized that that would just end up being a gorey mess of teeth and bones, a creature of nightmares at best and at worst equivalent to smashing a goat skull to pulp with a sledgehammer.

Now that's an interesting way to break out of a formula. The diamond and circle dragons really stand out as different, the hexagon dragon to a degree as well.
