This is kinda sorta related to "Mien" or at least inspired by it XD and I have no clue what made me want to draw these two as my first artwork of 2017 but I have no regrets. This was pretty fun to do and I feel the more cartoony style makes them look less strange in this non-Mobian form they're in. I have a relatively new headcanon that Sally is a squirrel/chipmunk hybrid and I tried to make that show in her design, here. Antoine's a floofy coyote and though the character in SatAM was cringy and hard to watch in the show and whenever I saw him in the Archie comics, I must admit it's fun to think up AUs that involve him (probably because I always felt sorry for him whenever I watched SatAM lol) and I do prefer his classic design to his more recent one that makes him look like an overly saturated dingo, so I used his classic design's colors for this AU version of him.
Use your imagination for what you think may be going on in this scene thing XD But I had an idea that Sally comes from a tree kingdom of squirrels but was separated from them and now has to go on this epicle journey to try reuniting with them with the help of Antoine as her noble steed. :la:
