Man, I haven't posted anything in a while, have I? As far as realism goes anyway. This has been in the works for quite a while. I think I started sketching this around 3-4 weeks ago.
This is my entry for Wacom's "Bring Your Vision to Life" contest on DA. The theme is Good vs Evil. =3
Overall, I'm quite happy with how this has turned out. Not as happy as I feel I should be I think, but maybe it's because I've been staring at it off and on for a few weeks. =P It was incredibly challenging to draw for me, from the poses, to the armor designs, to getting the weapons to look like they are being held properly...
Hmm, I'm not sure what else to say. The picture is pretty straight forward. =P Inspired by Redwall of course. I hope you guys like it, and wish me luck in the contest!

Thanks for the comment! And that is true. I did my best to have viewers read the badger as good character, and the rat as the bad character. For example, the rat has shaper features, a darker body, and with the lighting he's facing, he seems colder. But yes, those who haven't read Redwall would have have to take a little time to discern who is good and who is bad.
Wow.... just wow! I haven't looked at your stuff in a while, but DAMN. Man, you have improved!!! The rendering on this is AMAZING. I love the detail in the background, and all the beautiful lighting just makes this SO emotional. But my fave part is still those cloaks. I can practically feel the wind. :3
