Even though it's kinda hard to see, the webbing between the flight-feathers is still there.
One with my element, the storm. This is the only time I can remember doing a piece for myself.
Many images passed through my brain when creating this, and I tried a lot of new things...most of them without stopping to think, or worry...possessed. I had the sketch laying round for a little while, and put this together over it in charcoal, graphite, and number 2 pencil in just under 3 nights.
There is something there that has not been in my artwork in a long time...and something that hasn't been in work of or for myself in what seems an even greater time.
Many goggled images used for reference, including art from M:tG.
...Just...needed to stretch my wings.
