So if you don't follow me over on my Twitter I got a new toy for xmas. It's a 22" Monoprice Monitor Tablet (linked for those curious). Given to me and pitched in by several of my wonderful family members to get me this year. ;w; This is also another reason why I haven't been able to work too terribly much since after xmas. I've been trying to figure it out since it's a whole new way for drawing for me. To find the right angle/height of my chair etc. Has just been different. I should be back on track soon though and as always appreciate ya'lls continued patience with me. <3 I hope you all had a wonderful XMAS and New Year!

No lag that I'm aware of but it does sometimes jitter?? If you use a program that uses a stability enhancer it helps with that. But otherwise It works great.
No screen protector, the lack of texture doesn't bother me. I will however be getting a glove for my hand later though.

True but there is a reason why Wacom is the go to device for Professionals
not that this monoprice device is bad I don't have any personal experience with monoprice. I would say if it works then shouldn't make a difference what company it's from
I use a MS Surface 3 and a Intuos 5 myself though one day would love a cintiq

Nah I totally get it. I could never rationally afford a Cintiq of any kind personally and was looking for more reasonable priced similar options. And to me size matters so if I went for a Wacom I would be in debt for a while hah.. so I def had to hunt for the bargain and the quality. I personally love this tho.
Oh wow, didn't know Monoprice made full sized screened tablets! Time to save up. I've been using a normal monoprice tablet for almost ten years now, and it's still chugging along fine (tho I have to replace the pen once a year). They're a great alternative to cintiqs! I hope it works out for you and helps you in the future!
I was looking at this and the Yiyinova for myself cause the Cintiq is just waaaay outside of my budget at the moment.
How sensitive is it to touch? Like if I were to accidentally tap it with my free hand while I'm using the pen, would it pick up the "accidental" touch too? (not sure if I'm explaining right. X_X) I know on my Wacom Pen&Touch, I can turn off the touch so I can avoid that and it'd pick up only the pen.

I have not haha. I've only ever used a Graphire4, Intuos4, SurfacePro2, and a REALLY old tablet PC I can't remember the name. But it's really good. Has great pressure sensitivity and adjustment just like the Wacom brand does. It does jitter a bit but if you have a stabilizer for your lines it helps. Otherwise I love it.
I would suggest reading the reviews on amazon and make your own judgement. I searched several brands and this one had a decent amount of reviews to give me some good decision. Most of the gripes are pretty first world I can overlook like not having shortcut buttons, the smooth surface (which honestly doesn't bother me) etc. But I also love the pen cus it is triangular and easier on my fingers. It also adjusts super easy up and down and goes pretty low. It's very stable too. I hope this helps. I just could never justify a cantiq with its price unless I won the lottery or something lol. Also I'm a size Queen when it comes to monitors I can see and draw on. If the surface is too small I can't use it well. Which also plays a part in how much I'm willing to spend. For price and minor differences I say it's well worth it if a centiq isn't in your budget.
