I know this isn't exactly and anthro piece but I figured I'd share it on here too.
Losing Carrie Fisher absolutely gutted me. I've been sad over celebrity deaths before, but this one brought me to tears. She meant the world to me in so many ways. She was my first love. Her writing inspired me to push myself as a writer and tell honest stories from the heart. Her openness about mental illness has helped me cope with my own issues and most importantly, she's always been my artistic muse.
As a tribute to her I'm doing a series of Princess Leia pieces. Each will be themed after one of her traits and showcased through one of her various looks in the films. I'll be calling thee series "My Princess." I know it sounds a bit possessive, but these are my interpretations of both her beauty and her character. Plus it's coming from a very very personal place.
She was a symbol of so much to so many and I couldn't think of a better way to remember her than through my art.
