Living in TX has spoiled me on "cold". Now if it's too chilly or windy to step outsode with a hort sleeve shirt on, I start to consider the weather as "cold".
That being said, I miss real winters so much. Powdery, fluffy snow, not just ice and hail. Ah well.
Such a happy fella!

Isn't he, though? I believe the eyes say it all. There's nothing like the feeling of everything being right in the world with not a worry in sight.
As for snow...
I know how you feel. I live in the Carolinas and, here, a "Winter Storm" is a one inch dusting that closes the schools and makes the network channels buzz non-stop about conditions for HOURS!
Now, in PA, you'd need eight inches of snow AT ONCE to close schools. Even then, the major networks would simply say, "...School closings... be careful... Stay tuned for Dr. Phil." <LoL!>

Hehe, oh wow! Your yoshi style for the face/eyes is really different this time. :3 And I don't seen the dino-ear-holes like I did with your other reptiles... though I forget if you had them on the yoshies ya drew. 8D Either way, it looks like he's having a nice warm day. Woop hurray! :D
Yup, yup! I took to heart your remark on how I should try doing new arts and this fella' here is my first, true, new Yoshi since that fateful surgery back in 2006. :)
Ah, no Yosh-E-O earholes for Yoshies. At least, not until I figure out where Yoshi's ears are supposed to be. Perhaps he hears things telepathically? Or, another fun theory, the nose of Yoshi is so huge to not only pick up on Super Happy Fruits, but also doubles as a vibration detector that picks up sounds that a Yoshi interprets into words? Hmm.

I'm glad to see it then! :D Ehehe~
Telepathy sounds super cool! (: I forget if you've played SMRPG, but I think on Yoshi's Island, yoshi talked in parenthesis? Or maybe the other yoshies did while you were riding yoshi and talking to them... because you couldn't talk to others without him to be the translator. :3
Even the nose option sounds cool! It's so big, just like his eyes and mouth... it doesn't leave much room for brains if you include a skull too...
Another thing I guess, not to be perverse, is just that his ear holes are tiny, and thus, not really included in his design - kind of like the tailhole that his eggs come from, even though they don't really include that hole on his model either. 8D

Ah, even more good points! It's simply astounding how "different" Yoshies are. Of all the beings in the Mario universe, the Yoshi is one that ALWAYS seems to vary in some way based on where you find them.
It's funny how you note the "tail-hole" for Yoshi eggs, too. This is because, if you've played "Smash Bros. Melee" you can see that, when you use Yoshi's, egg throw attack, that he DOESN'T lay the eggs he throws! Rather, if you look closely, you see what looks like a blue spark, or something, that has the egg "materialize" in his hand! Does this mean Yoshi has magical powers?
Speaking of "magical powers" how about the "Kid" Yoshi you get in Paper Mario 2? The little guy is clearly wearing an article of clothing around his backside and, despite this fact, he manages to lay eggs magically through it via the mini-egg attack! Can you say, "Heke?" I even made a sort of joke about this fact when I drew this piccie back in my college days.
