I first Met the legendary Ni'chelle Nichols in 2015 and Wintercon New York. She wasn't in the best of health. Still, meeting this Important figure in the Civil Rights Movement, and legendary star of Jazz Music, and Phenomenal actress of Stage and screen was a high honor indeed. I even managed to snag an autographed photo for Ma, The original Trekkie and Ms Nichols's biggest fan ( when she was a girl).

One trip around the sun later, and I was blessed with the chance to not only meet her again, but to see her in much better health and spirits than she was when we met the year before! This time I got her to sign my copy of ht TOS BluRay and I got this photo of us together. I will forever cherish these memories. Ms Nichols is one real class act. My only regret about the entire affair is that I wish the photo was taken better. In the end, this wasn't as crisp as it could be.
