Yes, i mean the kind of forest you will find in Washington state, Oregon etc, the areas up around there. Im sure that there are other temperate rainforest regions which also look similar.

Yes, the peaks up in that area are very like that, but the river valleys are this incredible moss covered thick rainforest. I live in Tucson AZ, and so visiting that lush green, so very different from the harsh tans and browns of the desert was a huge change.

I've spent some time in Texas, Colorado and New mexico. And they're a nice change from what I get. really wanna go back now. Never been to the northern states though :C But I love the climate you get around your way
