It's not too surprising to hear as I kinda made Kolby for Francis but hey, not everyone sees it that way :P

I could make an even more wonderful couple if I ever got around to making detailed personalities.
Unfortunately it usually stops for me after getting their look down and a few simple qualities ;-;

I hope so! ^v ^ Francis's design is really simple and so is Kolby's but I think that's what draws me in. They're so gorgeous, really. They're ordinary but extraordinary! They're both really fun and relaxing to draw.

Hey, it's perfectly okay that they don't have complex backstories and detailed personalities, haha. Jena and Phoebe don't really have such detailed personalities and backstories but I really love them (Phoebe is my new and 3rd fursona, and Jena is her giraffe wife/girlfriend I made for her). I'm usually the opposite. I have such a detailed story planned out, that my designs are typically lacking in the excitement factor. lol

Yes! Simple designs can be really nice too. I see some designs, whilst perfectly good in their own ways, they're way too "busy" and I lose interest.
Not to mention drawing such designs can be labouring... ;-;

I suppose there may be a middle ground somewhere, but it's always so damn elusive :P
