I'm still trying to organize and streamline my commission process so bear with me, but I want to open January slots just to have a bit of cashflow to hold me over during that process.
2017 means price adjustments!! I will be honest I don't see TOO much changing since I haven't decided and done timing adjustments, but this'll be the last chance to get commissions at my current price point. Prices may stay the same but I don't plan on lowering any.
I'm still testing out google forms for commission requests! It's been working out and helps me a lot!
To order a commission:
- Fill out a form here > https://goo.gl/forms/7kY3Kk8KC9cVQPOF3 <
- Please fill out ONE form per individual image you're ordering. If you're ordering more than one commission at once please send separate forms! It helps me out. I can and will group them together on one invoice! Please specify in the additional notes section if you'd rather I do it differently.
- If I am able and willing to take your commission I will contact you, quote you a price, and invoice you! Basically to save time I send the invoice outright. If you have questions or concerns about the price contact me, but if everything looks good and payment checks out I'll just get to work and contact you only if I have questions! Please specify on the notes section if you'd rather get process steps and approve sketches before I continue.
-Leave a comment or drop me a note after you submit a form! It's kind of janky and I'm still figuring out notifications, but I check FA constantly, so the fastest way to make sure I receive your request is through here.
-Slots are still generally first come first serve~! It's very rare that I decline a commission request.
-I have a Terms of Service that sorely needs updating but honestly if you have any questions for now just hit me up.
-I keep my queue organized almost exclusively through Trello here > https://trello.com/b/ArHr5LmT/work <, so if I have a slot or queue list on FA it may not be as up to date or accurate as my Trello.
Other things changing about commissions in 2017:
-I'm going to be cleaning up the google form in the future. It's convenient and streamlined, but I know it could be even *more* streamlined, so look out for that.
-I want to actually REDUCE the number of choices on my price list. By limiting the types of commissions I offer it provide a less overwhelming menu for customers, and I can pump out more consistent work because I'm not second guessing styles. For example, the binary busts! Very easy for me to pump out quickly because they have a consistent and defined style.
-I will still be willing and able to do all kinds of commission projects! But those will be priced case by case. I won't list 'openings' for these types of commissions, but if you approach me with a project and I'm interested I can work with you! Even if I don't have the time and I schedule you for a future commission. (This is in reference to like, anything sort of freelance work not outlined on my price sheet, including traditional coms or tattoo work or graphic design.
-I want to do more experimental or finished pieces. I'll be developing more 'full color' methods.
-I'm gonna be launching a patronus soon with cool neat rewards and stuff.
-That's about all I got for now. I'm flying by the seat of my pants if I'm going to be perfectly honest.
