So this is something I did for one of my projects in Illustration class... it's concept art for my comic I mentioned. I'd put the name somewhere except it doesn't have one yet.
Mostly I wanted to post it here because 1. it doesn't spoil anything too important (even if you know what's going on) and 2. I want to show that I can draw backgrounds pretty alright now. ;D I was shooting for a watercolor look for the background, but it's all digital.
So I guess there's a taste of stuff. It won't be this detailed in every shot, probably only for really important scenes/panels. But there ya go.
Yellow haired child is Jon, concerned child is Anya.
A background this level of complex would be PRETTY FUCKIN EXPENSIVE and would depend on the nature of the background and just how complex it is. So I can't really give an estimation for that. OH WELL
