While functioning mostly as a villain, Zirak would, hopefully, be a sympathetic character.
He cares deeply for his only child, Ziral, especially after losing his wife to disease. In this late stage of his life, Zirak hopes to finish the war and leave his daughter a united kingdom.
The general Bayabar has been his closest friend and consul since childhood, despite Bayabar having been born in a different clan.
