Vore Tournament featured in Polish computer magazine
Someone reminded me of this recently, and I thought it would be a funny thing to share with everyone: In February of 2015, the original Vore Tournament game was featured on the cover of a Polish computer magazine. I was not aware of that until it was brought to my attention, and in fact quite shocked that it happened: Not because I mind which I obviously do not, but because it's not something I would have expected to happen especially with a game such as VT.

If anyone knows what magazine this is, I would like more information about it. I was suggested contacting them myself, and letting them know about the new port of the game... which in case they'd like to feature it again, I definitely wouldn't mind doing.

Nice to know the name... maybe I can contact them and let them know about the new version of VT for Xonotic! And I'm glad he likes it: VT is of course a vore game, but it's not necessarily intended just for those who like vore... the game and gameplay themselves can be just as fun for the average person.
Haha... I never knew they sold it on DVD too! Legally it's fine as both the old and new VT are GPL licensed, which makes them okay to distribute as long as you include the source code. I don't really mind either, honestly I'm kind of flattered... would have liked to know as well for my own curiosity though.
Hello, I'm the person who produced these pictures and screenshots years ago (it's a bit of a trip to see them again and pop up here! the grapevine of the internet...)
They basically bundled a bunch of freeware that was deemed the "best of the best" from what they featured in earlier issues and the bundled-in DVDs. The blurb in the magazine doesn't go into much beyond that outside of listing the games and endorsing indie creators as a concept.
If you desire any further info about this, feel free to ask (though I only have this issue and not the earlier one that also has it)

That's awesome. Unfortunately the project is no longer under development: It got a remake since then, but VT 2.0 was later killed off after the base project (Xonotic) banned me for no reason during some bizarre mass psychosis episode its team experienced after Kiwifarms spread lies about me, never found out what even happened beyond that knowledge. I'm mostly playing around with Godot and a few other engines now, I'm also a mapper for and tinkering with the FPS Red Eclipse but no plans to make a VT 3.0 on it or anything.
