We went to Comicon some time ago and my friends decided to stuff me into that suspicious looking blue box that was standing there among other interesting things. After that I decided to watch Doctor Who to find out what exactly they tried to stuff me into. Long story short - I was saddened by Doctor's choice of companions. He always choose mortal human girls who would die sooner or later anyway, and then he got very upset when they got killed, exterminated, upgraded, sucked into another universe etc. And this picture is what came out of it.

So after Qilby escaped the dimension of nothingness where he was imprisoned via the portal leading to Equestria, he met the pony version of Doctor Who. After Doctor stopped his evil plans a couple of times, the two of them came to an agreement: Qilby would become Doctor's companion. This way Doctor would get a companion who can never die and Qilby would get a chance to travel the universe, visit other planets and study their inhabitants (without using his own ship the Zenith that sucks out all the life force of a planet to just takeoff which is very impractical). Unfortunately Qilby haven't even started dissecting that dalek when only 15 minutes after the start of their journey they've managed to crash-land on the last planet in the galaxy you would want to crash-land on!
