TJ watches as Carter carefully walks over to the piano. It was confusing to him seeing her sit down at it, he knew she couldnt play it so what was she planning on doing. She gently places her fingers on the keys gently playing them. She looks up at the mic and gently clears her throat.

"as many of you know, i cant actually play the piano" she begins "but this song i am about to sing really, really means a lot to me. So with a little help from some friends i learned how to play one song. Wish me luck" she says with a little wink. She carefully begins to play her song as the crowd gets quiet ready to listen. She plays a somber little tune before opening her mouth.

"Couldnt relax, coudlnt sit back, and let the sun. . . . light in my lap" she begins singing Happy by Marina and the Diamonds.

TJ smiles watching her play, she looked so beautiful on stage. Her fingers dancing on the keys as she plays. He sees tears filling her eyes. She glances at the backstage clearly looking at someone

"I realize to be happy, Maybe I need a little company. So now you know, you know it all, That I've been des-desperately alone" She sings as tears fall down her cheeks.

TJ realizes who shes looking at, who the song is for, and why she was singing it. His smile starts to fade as a wave of sadness hits him.

'stop being so selfish! shes allowed to love her too. She deserves to be happy!' TJ thinks to himself as he nervously grabs at his sleeve. TJ quickly searches for the exit, seeing it he quietly heads for it. He sneaks out leaning against the wall.

'fuck Tyler. . . .what is wrong with you' he thinks to himself as he scratches at his scars.

'she loves you right? she can feel strongly towards other people as well! You dont own her. . . . all you want is for her to be happy. You know you cant make her as happy as she does. . . . dammit Tyler what is wrong with you?!' he winces slightly looking down at his arm. He had scratched so hard he was bleeding. He sighs to himself looking around to see if there was something nearby he could use to wipe it off. He notices a men's room and heads for it. He walks in and carefully starts wiping off the blood with a paper towel. He carefully washes his scratches before heading back out. He sees Carter walking threw the hall looking for something. She looks up at him and smiles softly.

"There you are! i was looking for you" she chirps walking over. "What did you think of my piano playing? your clearly much better at it then me but not a bad first try huh?" she asks with a small smile. TJ looks down at her seeing her makeup being ever so slightly messed up and her cheeks are still slightly wet from the tears.

"i thought it was beautiful" he sighs gently wiping her cheek with his thumb. She grins softly then looks up seeing his sad face.

"whats wrong baby?" she asks taking his hand against her face in her hand.

"Its nothing" he beings "i just wish i could make you that happy. . . . but i know i never will" he sighs

She looks at him a little confused "w-wait do you mean? TJ that wasnt anything against you!" she tries to assure him.

"i know, but its a song that clearly means a lot to you. I also know she means a lot to you" he answers taking his hand back.

"Tyler. . . baby come on! dont act this way" she says a little frustrated.

"I'm sorry, I just want to make you as happy as she does. I know i cant and for that i am sorry" he answers turning to leave.

"Tyler! wait! dont leave!" Carter grabs his hand "you both make me happy! C-cant the song be about both of you?" she begs as he gently cups her face in his hand.

"It can. . . but we both know its not" TJ replies gently kissing her forehead. He turns on his heal and starts walking down the hall.

"TJ! Baby please wait!" she calls after him. TJ waves over his shoulder but keeps walking.

Thats right Sunny make your first image of the year a sad stupid one. WELL I HAD THE IDEA SUDDENLY AND WANTED TO DO IT OK?!?!? i will get to owed work and late gifts after this i havent drawn personal art in 5ever.

Awhile back Beulah told me the song "Happy" but Marina and the Diamonds was Carter's sorta love letter to Astrid. TJ tries everything in his power to make his friends happy, especially is girl friends. Sense he cant please his mother he really tries his best to please the other women in his life because he wants to see them be happy! Carter is no exception to this rule, he puts that bitch over like everyone especially himself. One night at a Night Howl show Carter goes to sing this song to Astrid, it finally hits TJ that for Carter hes second. Or at least viewed a little differently then he views her. That wouldnt be an issue if he didnt try his hardest to make her happy, then hearing he could never make her as happy as Astrid did and continues to do. That just really hits him hard. I cant say they break up over this but there is definantly a small break. TJ just loves Carter so much, shes pretty much his dream girl and sense shes been threw so much he just wants to show her how beautiful and amazing she is. He wants her to love him as much as he loves her and to just make her happy. He fears he will never be able to truly do this.

I made them human because. . . . . idk it just seemed like fun lol I wanted to draw my freckle babe and i dont think Carter or Astrid have ever really been drawn as humans before. I gave Astrid short hair because me and Beulah were talking once and she said she thinks it might be cute! so i wanted to try it out :3 i personally really like it but of course its up to Beulah if she wants it like that or not! Also Beulah if you want i cant totally go back and give her long hair!

Sorry for the sad little story Beulah! but i hope you still like it! I think this could be canon sense its just a bump in the road instead of a massive blow out! and yeah TJ is being kinda selfish i know but leave the baby alone. He has a lot of anxiety and just wants his lady to love him.
