I really don't know what was going on. I was just making my way home after finishing a gathering quest.

I had my sword on me, and though I didn't use it much, I felt like I needed it.

"As I said," The Rathalos before me said. "This war between Wyverns and Mortals has gone on long enough. Many have died from both sides. You are to be my mate. Since you're the son of a famous hunter, in order for our kinds to merge and settle things, we need to marry."

"Look dude, I don't care if you're a king or not," I replied, pointing my sword in his direction. "I don't know you at all, so I have no intention of doing such a thing!"

It might be the fact that it was raining, but I was freezing, and shivering to no end.

This guy wasn't really going to make me marry him, was he?

"That sword you hold is a dragon-slayer, you know?" He stated. "I've been watching over you. You don't really use it. You mainly use it for hunting prey, as well as for slicing away plants, and even then, I see you use your magic more than anything."

He chuckled.

"We could put that thing away for good. What do you say, kid?"

I growled.

"I pulled this sword from a stone, and apparently I have blood of the Exalt in me." I answered. "I'm not putting it away, even if I don't use it. It's important to me. And, I'm not going to be your mate."

The man, apparently his name was Kale'zo, let out a sigh.

"Fine then," He replied. "You leave me no choice."
