It's been a long time, hasn't it?
This took me longer to write than any other poem, by far. Probably the most difficult piece I've ever written. Many attempts with different approaches until finally I managed to get the main draft down with a few tweaks since as I've been working on finishing up my poetry collection.
I should have an announcement about my poetry book in February or March, so look for that. Manuscript is done and it's time to let it out into the world. And then time for new things.
The title for this piece was borrowed from the title of a sketch. Thanks and credit for that to the artist and I hope they are doing well. I hope everyone involved is doing well.
