I've worked with DAZ Studio for years, and while what he said is extremely harsh and downright rude and ignorant, I can say that it is a bit easy at times. Or rather, that it takes a lot of burden off of specific parts of the CGI process. The trickiest parts tend to be the lighting, and when applicable the material adjustment. Sometimes models won't 'play nice' with what you have in mind and you'll have to improvise.
A lot of people think you can just paste a few objects in, load up a scene and then hit Make Art button to get results like this. While the engine he's using (I believe he's still using iRay) does help, it's not just going to be a magic connect the dots thing you can do in a few minutes.

Some people just get really uptight when folks throw insults like that around man. Whether or not you feel these things 'take skill' or not doesn't really give you the right to say that on the artist's own work. If ye want to complain about these things, putting up your own journal or something would be the more appropriate place than on other people's work
Saying a fetish is dumb is ignorant and stupid considering the many subsets of it. Yes realistically that's it one and done, however fantasy has many many more to it. As a voreaphile I can safely tell you that this stuff is no freakier than those that like bursting or gore via crushing. An opinion is nice to have but remember your opinion means NOTHING when it's based on ignorance alone.
