It's a good thing to practice this, I think it never looks right so it bothers me to do forshortened pictures

Yeah it always seems to look not quite right but I've wanted to start trying more dramatic poses and angles. That coupled with the new coloring stuff should hopefully get off of this plateau I feel like I've been on artistically.

Looks like you nailed it to me, the only thing would be the torso might need to be a tad longer. (she looks a bit short) I won't knock the feet cause I have the hardest time with those myself, as do many people around here.
