Marble House -- The Knife
I cut your nails and comb your hair
I carry you down the stairs
I wanted to see right through from the other side
I wanted to walk a trail with no end in sight
The moment we believe that we have never met
Another kind of love it's easy to forget
When we are all alone then we do both agree
We have a thing in common this was meant to be
You close my eyes and soothe my ears
You heal my wounds and dry my tears
On the inside of this marble house I grow
And the seeds I sow will grow up prisoners too
The moment we believe that we have never met
Another kind of love it's easy to forget
When we are all alone then we do both agree
We have a thing in common this was meant to be
Now where's your shoulder
What is it's name
What's your scent
Say it again
If it goes faster can you still follow me
It must be safe when it's on TV
I raise my hands to heaven of curiosity
I don't know what to ask for
What has it got for me?
The others say we're hiding
It's as forward as can be
Some things I do for money
Some things I do for free

"The Knife themselves have said they are not sure about what the song means, but they suggest it is about a devote person that dedicates his life to something, as long as it helps to avoid loneliness."

AAAAAAAAAAAOKAY. I will never be able to come up with a suitable comment worthy of this piece of art, and I want it badly in my favourites...
Like I've said before- it disturbs me greatly, in that 'Saturn devours his own children' by Goya kind of way...which is really a great thing. An awesome thing, actually- I bow my head in respect.
The place looks ordinary, yet ominous...that's all I can say about it. And there's something in that character that both frightens and moves me.
It's not as detailed as your other works (though /still/ very detailed hahaha)...and well, it differs from your usual work in almost every way...which I find fantastic. You know I love all your art, and now I love it even more with this piece amongst it...and and and and and this is where I don't know what I want to say, so I will just stop :|

Yeah, one of my friends on DA said the same thing about my first brushpen image I posted (It's here too "Dedicate"). She said it was just so different than what I usually post, and that was a great thing.
And, yeah, most of my brush pen things are taking on their own personality, becuase it's just a medium this is impossible to use my old, boring, and stale techniques on. That's kinda the point of these things, to make something original, instead of the crap that I find in my pencil works. If comes out differently becuase it is completelt different, and every stroke of the pen I put down... stays.
It's just... so important to experiment, and even though I fail most of the time... it breathes more life into my works than I could ever expect with my usual artings. I needed that so badly, even if it's beyond terrible to look at.
Anyways, thank you. I'm glad I got that impression across, but if you ever see the video (better with music too), you'd know that all the vision, feeling, and inspiration was already taken care of by those better than me. I dunno what I drew this, maybe it was practice... or maybe I was just moved to reproduce a scene I adored. Anyways, all credid goes to The Knife and the maker of the movie.
