Man I enjoyed watching this show as a kid. Cleo was one of the first female cartoon characters I took notice of, and having been drawn like this is it any wonder?

The current background is a throwaway quickie just to get the piece finished but my original intent was to go all Trapper Keeper in the design. It's not too late though!

How or where do you get those backgrounds?
Maybe more 80's power would have come from that light purple BG from the show "Double Dare"; but that's only me trying to blend everything with everything.
Still, it's a great picture. I can't stop staring at her!

Thank you! I have no problem with other people taking liberties when drawing characters they like (or like to see them) but when I try drawing them I prefer to make them look as accurate to the source material as I can since that's what grabbed my attention in the first place.
