Well, I did another shot at a head. Originally it was meant to be an anime-style head but I started playing with the other brushes, and it turned into an lien head. This time I made some eyes for him and gave them some shine and reflection.
Not too bad. I hope to someday make a body. If I can just make some various body types, maybe I can do all of my characters in 3D.... all 350 of them.

Yeah I thought of that. It was a more human head but then I just started pulling at a vertice or face and it make the horns. Yeah, there's two of them. They're more like hers, https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20818285/ She would be fairly easy to learn as her body isn't that complex. I've learned a bit from this "head". Playing with Nodes is interesting and plugging one thing into one or more nodes can make for interesting effects. The thing I hate to do is UV unwrapping. Imagine the fun with a character and UV unwrapping. I nearly thought that maybe 3D characters isn't going to be faster than drawing.
I still gotta make grass and stuff. It's mostly why I started with Blender. I wanna make some more realistic scenes than I can in Photoshop or Sketchup.

I added a bit of roughness to the shine to tone it down a bit. It was actually VERY glossy. Still learning but picking up things as I go.
As I said to
jolene above, I should model this alien girl of mine, https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20818285/ She's got a relatively easy body to model.
