This here is a amazing find that a friend and I happened to stumble on a few weeks back.
It is an antique Logger Head sea turtle skull. I am at the moment working with the Australian museum to research a bit more into this amazing specimen, mainly due to the fact that it has what looks like an old musket bullet wound (well done to Tari for spotting it!) which means it could be dated back to colonist times. They also believe its size is quiet large for its species (if it indeed is a loggerhead, I have recently sent off a bunch of photos for it to be looked over in more detail.)
Yay for interesting finds! I think this is my best yet <3

Wow, that's so neat... And enormous, seeing a turtle that big would be awful; the turtles all chase and attack here.
So awesome that you found this. The best things we find around here at our stable in Indiana are our own buffalo/cow/horse bones from 30+ years of burying deceased ones. INSIGNIFICANT IN COMPARISON D:

ohhh nice! Haha yea, this guys so large, I cant even spread my hand over its crown, length ways its at least 23 cm in size which is huge XD
I don't think its really possible to own these, laws around the world and especially Australia is insanely strict in possessing them, and even antique finds are hard to come by. After I researched a bit and traveled up to the museum with it, I realized just how special it was :o Ive never seen marine biologists act like kids with candy over my finds before haha
