It's a bit of a stupid story and stupid character idea but..
I'd never actually played a Zelda game proper until just a year or so ago. One of my friends has been nice enough to let my borrow a GBA copy of A Link to the Past. I usually put my name down as "Pandog" for everything but had to shorten it to "Pan" while playing because of the character count. I ended up liking the name enough to carry it over to other RPGs where I started to think of "Pan" a sort of character personality that's fun to take up in games. It was also inevitable that I'd give him an animal form so then that's when Pan the Pandog was created! Now I just doodle him in situations and experiences I found amusing in whatever games I've been playing.

and idk, I wanted to draw him as Link since that was where he was first conceived..
