Funny how that's not the immediate action one often takes when shrunken and facing this scenario I guess their minds are too preoccupied with avoiding those colossal sandaled feet than to think strategically, right? Plus, it can be pretty risky, though If not timed correctly, they'd wind up under, instead of on top
True, the more immediate instinctive approach is to run straight ahead, when really an attempt should be made to run to the left or two the right. Then as the Sandaled foot comes down, JUMP and grab onto something. Or take out your smart phone and start taking breath taking pictures.
Personally, I'd linger behind and track them to their destination. With any luck it's somewhere close by rather than miles away.

That sounds like a pretty good strategy You still need to factor in the impact of the foot. At that size and range, a single step can cause a large tremor which could throw the shrunken off balance; thus, missing their opening. However, if timed correctly, it can be done, and they'd definitely need to grab hold of the enormous sandal strap; they might even try squeezing inside to be secured with each step. I definitely like that photographing idea Even recording a video -- it'd go straight to YouTube!

Same here That's why I commissioned sorcererlance to color it. Incidentally, I've also recently done the same with silverscarf so you should be seeing his version in due time
