Actually around the time Mechwarrior 2 was out for the PC, that cartoon EXO-Squad was releasing Robotech licensed mechs as part of their line, I snatched that one and a Marauder up. though the Spring legs on the marauder are goofy as hell and one leg never stays down.

MGS4 had alot of the games content butchered into ingame movies because Sony lied about the consoles performance and MGS4 Creator wasn't able to do 1/10th of the things they wanted to do.. so everything almost was condensed and it's joked about as being pretty much a movie with playable scenes

Ah, I see, ok then. Well, that's Sony for ya, claiming something of theirs is amazing and state of the art, when it isn't. Kinda like Blu-ray, it really isn't as good as Sony claims it is. It's not all that much better than HD DVD really.

Same with the Xbox 360. Having that thing horizontal will significantly increase the motherboard and chipset temperature as it builds heat between the chassi and the surface... which is no real mystery.

It does? But the 360 has vents on both ends, so standing it would block one *shrugs*

Oh - I totally know what you're thinking of, but I was also a bit surprised at first to find out. There is the big vent by the underside (standing) of the chassi which would theoreticly block partions of the airflow, but that same segment is also vented on the sides (standing) too as the sceleton chassi inside is lifted a bit higher than the floor allowing air to sip in through the sides of that otherwise blocked vent as well.

Plus the problem is not the airflow, really, it's actually quite excellent overall for such a small chassi. The problem is the heat building up between the motherboard, chassi and surface which will over time heat up the motherboard and chipset components in a way it would never to while standing as the heat is free to spread in a much more free way.

Okay, I know I might be making this sound more difficult and smartass than it is. I just woke up and I might be like the dolphins and still have one half of my brain still sleeping :(

I get what you mean. Though I do own the Elite, which has a heatsync between the two boards. I wonder which would still be the most ideal. I also tend to run all my games off the harddrive though so even after several hours of playing the thing is still cool to the touch. I'll have to research a bit more. Thanks for the info though!

Since I'm bored I'll take the liberty to answer your question.
For the Xbox 360 there is a simple Component/AV-to-VGA adapter for around 19USD which you can use to connect with any monitor out of the box, but it's first with the correct speaker and adapter configuration you'll be able to get audio unless your monitor runs on exceptionally wierd speaker inputs.

For PlayStation 3 I have no idea myself, but there's tons of accessories from first- and third party to supply the demand which would work exactly the way as the Xbox 360 equalent.

Problem is the sound is still combonent/koax or any non-3.5mm input you'd most reasonably not have on a PC monitor.

Or since its a Dell with HDMI, he's prolly using that.

I doubt that model carries HDMI. In either way I see no HDMI cable connected to the monitor.

I got M-41 replica from a dealer i knew back in the 90`s , I believe it was an Entertainment Earth exclusive that he was able to get at cost .


As for the pop gun toy used as part of the smart guns in aliens it was part of the guns power cells since the gun could not be fired without it .

Mine has the static too... I wonder why mine burns dishes, though. There's three dead ones in varying states of disassembly laying around the desk. They just blink out for no reason.

GoW2 yes, but I played it for the story, and not the multiplayer 'story' of ZOMGn00bz!!@ which to-this-date I've never played a multiplayer version of a game that had a good singleplayer (okay I lied: AVP2.)

Yeah Left4Dead is better on a PC however my PC is pretty rubbish and probably couldn't manage it, It BARELY manages Half Life 2 and Gmod, in Gmod it crashes occasionally and I get the blue screen of death if I choose any other map than GM flatgrass.Also I'm broke and decent Graphics cards cost too much these days.

The only thing I hate about multiplayer GOW2 is those that take a hissy fit over the microphone if you kill them, that's why I prefer RE5 multiplayer because the single player is pretty decent and so is the multiplayer.

Used to watch the old transformer series on video tapes when my cousin broke his arm like 8 or 9 years ago. :P I liked the new movies a little for the transformers and not the people.
