I'm such a goddamn weeb generation Sakuga animator... just sayin'.
Yeah, if only I felt like actually animating Sunny Bear's dreads. But, it takes forever, lol! I'll probably take this and move on. I should animation stream this weekend, that'll be fun. My animation process is like 1000x less prudent because I don't care as much about clean linework or vibrant colors, just awesome movement! Wooooo!
My car is still caked in snow, I went to scrape it off, but it froze my hands. So--uh, no. I'll just deal with it later. Time for a nap, goodnight.

I fancy myself more of a storyboarder--I've dabbled in 2D flash animation on my own, and took a 3-D animation class. Both experiences were more tedious than fun for me--and right now, I'm not at a point in my life where I can consistently practice animation to work up to the skill where I'd be able to do it more intuitively, and thus, have less of an uphill battle with it. So I really admire the patience animators have! x'D
You've got some beautiful, fluid work going on here. =D And it's quite inspirational as well--I'd like to know how long Sunny Star Impact and Dark Deva announcements animations took, if you would be open to sharing. =)

No problem. They both took maybe 2 hours for this much. I LOVE the building of animated pieces aka Key and In-Between Animation, I just don't like clean up and color. If I have to do it, I will, but it takes more time for that than just key and in-betweening. That's why I love the web generation of anime animators, a lot of their stuff is this messy and isn't focused on clean up or color, but about the motion. That's what I like the most.
