Being in tip-top physical shape really mattered for a bounty hunter like Ms. Aran. The holidays threw a lot of temptation her way to drift off that path for the few times her target was in a large city. So her body was spared from the girth-enhancing sweets and pastries that seemed to plague other, weak-willed denizens with their sugary, calorie-dense luxury.

Unfortunately, Samus had retired with her body's transformation to a space dragon. While she hadn't exactly been racing for treats from the get-go, she was still looking forward to experiencing the Christmas and New Years' season on Earth. As ambassadors to the growing populace of space dragons, Samus and Lonias were in New York City and had the chance to partake in many a feast and party, all of which they were more than happy to oblige.

The effect on their bodies was readily apparent, as both grew fat and rotund with the intense caloric intake. On New Years Eve, while at their apartment alone together, Samus decided to show off her Zero Suit to Lonias. While certainly enjoying the self-massage she inadvertently gave herself, Samus found her enormously-expanded body was simply far too big for even the Chozo-woven elastic-polyester to cover.

"Like what you see?" Samus said to Lonias, her obese body jiggling with the barest of movements.
