sooo...is this based out of Pern? or another series?

only critique i can place...is why is the riding strap attached to a spike? why not go up the head for better control?

I figured most dragons would get pissed off at having reigns so the strap on the spike lets her "suggest" where they should go.

hmmm...hadn't thought of it that way....but then again it also depends on which dragon series we speak of...since in some they speak back and forth and are bonded to the rider....where as others were tamed.

Pern was a funny series there was no bad guys only situations that were dealt with. Kinda boring when you think about it unless you liked the characters.

i actually liked the whole series...it was a very nice departure from the bad guy/good guy thing. I have over half the series in hardback...if i can still get the last 6 parts in hardback i'll have the whole thing....money be the issue here.
