Like cute fleece hats, but looking for something... a little different?

Rather than animal ears, this fleece hat boasts a dorsal fin -- specifically, the dorsal fin of a bottlenose dolphin, the species most typically seen in aquariums and other sealife facilities. Both dolphin trainers and marine researchers use the general shapes and unique notches of the dorsal fin to identify individual dolphins; this particular fin is very falcate, or sharply curved, in shape.

The fin and the body of the hat are a lovely blue-gray fleece; the band is white; and there's a small plastic tag on the back reading "whatzits galore." The inner fin is constructed of thin foam to allow it to stay upright, although -- just like real dolphins -- the dorsal fin may tilt to one side or the other to a certain degree.

These hats are designed to fit the average adult, with a band circumference of 22-24". Given the nature of the material, the fleece will comfortably stretch a couple of inches beyond that.
