Another cockatrice adoptable from Wherwell Cockatrice Rescue! You can read about the rescue and the species over here (link), as well as getting first chance at the batches by following that blog.
Each design has two price tiers: the lower comes with the design and fullsize of the original image, the higher with the design, fullsize of original, and choice of either a full reference sheet (example link) or a sketchsheet (example link). Listed prices are in USD. If interested in either, just comment to claim. Adoptables can be changed and traded by the buyer, but may not be resold for more than purchase price.
Huka - sold
Huka is a young skyshark* cockatrice, originally intended to be trained in the sport of falconry but dropped from the program when it came to light that she is deaf. Overall her personality can be described as “cheeky,” as she tends to have a mind of her own and likes getting in to just about everything. This can be a bit scary, as she stands at about five feet tall at the top of her three-foot toothy head. Because of this we recommend her to someone who can be confident around her, and wouldn’t mind constantly having to ask what she’s got in her mouth now.
*Skyshark cockatrix are a large (4-8 feet tall, wingspans easily reaching 20ft), fully flighted variety of cockatrice. There’s some debate about whether they constitute a subspecies or an entirely different species, but their key differences are great size, consistent flightedness, large and toothy heads, and a quadrupedal stance. They may be a bit awkward or alien on the ground, but they are all efficient and graceful aerial hunters.

Oh neat! I may have to check my bank account because I like the idea of a sketch page ... the difficulty is deciding whether it would be prudent to add that on ATM XD
Also, I don't intend to sound nit-picky, it relates more to my eyesight and computer: the colors on the lower pics seem a little paler compared to the top image. I kind of prefer the brighter and deeper shades, would it be possible to request the sketchpage follow that color scheme?
If I am wrong about there being a difference, I apologize, I tend to have problems with subtle contrasts XDDDD
thanks!
